Passive fundraisers earn money or points that directly benefit OMS by asking families to simply register or shop as you normally would through local and commercial businesses. Those businesses then reward our school with either a cash award or new equipment. Our school participates in a number of these fundraisers: Hannaford Helps, Price Chopper’s Tools for Schools, Box Tops for Education, and Target's Take Charge of Education.
Box Tops for Education is a simple way you can help raise money for our school without spending any more money than you usually would! Simply cut out the box top square from participating products and send it into school with your child. Some products have more than one box top - so keep your eyes peeled! General Mills literally pays OMS 10 cents for each box top. Stop and think about how many dimes you might be throwing away every day—dimes that help pay for books, supplies and special programs for our students. Funds are split between the school and the PTA.
