Make A Difference Day -- Kick it Forward!
Got fantastic shoes, boots, cleats at home that you don’t want to part with, but they just don’t fit. Well you can feel good about paying them forward as part of O’Rourke Middle School PTA’s participation in National Make A Difference Day.
The week of October 18th through 22nd large boxes will be placed outside the cafeteria to collect clean and gently used shoes, boots and athletic shoes. At the end of the week all of the shoes will be collected and donated as part of National MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY which is celebrated this year on October 23, 2010. This event is being held in collaboration with Community Human Services. This means that families in and around our community will benefit directly from this effort.
