O'Rourke Middle School PTA

All students are reminded to leave messages for parents when trying to reach them on the phone during the day.  The office staff is not able to search for students to return phone calls. 

Attention 8^th grade Honor Society candidates:  service records are due by 2:30 pm today.  Hand them in to Mrs. Brown in Room 105 or Mrs. Rizzo in the Media Center today. 

Attention 7^th and 8^th graders who have to pay their Art/Tech/FACS computer fees:  8^th graders please pay the $12 fee to either your Art or FACS teacher.  7^th graders please pay the $12 fee to either your Art or FACS teacher or if you are not taking Art or FACS this quarter, please pay the fee to Ms. Ronca, Mrs. Mahoney or Mrs. Brown. 

There will be a meeting Thursday after school in the library for students to give their input on the hiring of our new principal.  Be the one to represent your homeroom and have a voice in this important process. 

Please be aware that O’Rourke collects BoxTops for Education.  Check out the products in your home and bring them in to school.  Also look at your 3 ring binders.  Many of them have the BoxTops for Education labels on the spines.  Each label equals 10 cents. Save them and turn them in to your homeroom or the main office.

 Students are asked to please check the map in the main office for their activity bus routes before attending activity period. 

Students are reminded that there will not be call downs for items left in the office for pickup.  You must check the TV screens in the cafeteria daily whether or not you think there may be something for you in the office.

 Congratulations to the Girls’ Cross Country team on their win this past weekend at the Guilderland Invitational and for their shutout victories yesterday over Bethlehem and Ballston Spa.
